Michael P. Dever
Founder & CEO
Mike is the founder (in 1982) and CEO of Brandywine Asset Management, a featured subject of three books, numerous interviews and articles, and the author of a best-selling investment book. Brandywine has invested significant amounts over the past four decades in research to develop proprietary investment strategies and manage client assets pursuant to several successful investment programs. All of Brandywine’s investment programs are characterized by their ability to provide uncorrelated diversified returns or by the protection they provide against bear markets. Mr. Dever has also been a great early identifier of investment talent, allocating capital to other investment managers that went on to great success.
In addition to Brandywine, Mr. Dever became an Internet pioneer when he founded Spree.com in 1996. Spree.com pioneered the use of viral and affiliate marketing to grow into the world’s 7th most trafficked ecommerce site by the fall of 1998.

Robert Proctor, CFA
Head of Trading & Operations
Rob is head of Trading and Operations. He joined Brandywine in 2010 and has 30 years of investment management experience. Prior to joining Brandywine he was a registered investment advisor and head of his own investment management firm. In the early part of his career he worked at Thomson McKinnon Securities and LPL Financial.
Mr. Proctor was also active in the venture development area with companies such as SailNet.com & Marine.com, which he founded. Most recently, from 2015 until 2020, he has served as an investor and CFO at Vermont Natural Beef, LLC.
Mr. Proctor is a member of the Harford CFA Society and the CFA Institute. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter and holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Mr. Proctor holds a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Vermont. He serves on the board of Honduras Children’s Project and is the treasurer of the Lions Club of Durham, CT. Dave Chamides
Director
Born in Manhasset, NY and raised in Zurich, Switzerland, David started his career by interning at Clariden Bank, Zurich during his Junior Year in College. There he traded foreign currencies for this private division of Credit Suisse including the summer following.
David graduated from Rutgers University in 1989 with a BS in International Economics. While studying at Rutgers, David also worked as a runner on the floor of the New York commodity exchange for Gerald Commodities time pending. In 1992 he became a member and filled futures options’ orders for hedge funds.

Doug Bloom
Associated Person
Since 2017, Doug Bloom has been coaching high-performing CEOs, investors, and other wealth creators to cultivate success by focusing on vision, talent, strategy, priorities and accountability.
From 2006 through 2016, Doug was CEO of RealWinWin, a venture-backed, energy-efficiency services company (sold in 2016). RealWinWin identified and captured energy efficiency rebates and incentives in support of more than 100 “national brand” retail and retail service companies.
