Matthew Dever

Matt is the CEO of Scrimmage, a software startup that helps companies create and manage loyalty programs. Scrimmage was launched in 2022 while going through the Techstars Accelerator program in Indianapolis. Off the back of that program Scrimmage raised institutional capital and now services clients across the edtech, sports betting, and cashback industries.

Prior to Scrimmage, Matt worked in the financial industry as a credit analyst with Citigroup leaving in 2021. He was responsible for assessing the quality of the bonds that Citi held on their internal balance sheet.

In 2020 Matt left Citigroup to launch a consumer app for sports bettors. The app aggregated a user’s betting information across their various sportsbook accounts and provided key information and analysis.
